2.Ensure Database Services at maintained to an Optimal standard

· Design Database schemas for high performance, high availability database

·Install, configure and maintain SQL Server databases

· Perform database backups and refreshes

· Prepare capacity planning and sizing, Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner

· Plan & implement and maintain security at the database level

· Expert understanding of the SQL Server architecture administration and security.

· Understanding of Windows Server, and Open Source (Linux-based) operation systems.

· Solid Understanding of enterprise level hardware systems including: RAID and SAN, and NAS commonly used in fault tolerant production environments.

·Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues.

· Ability to manage all database maintenance plan activities including backups, indexing, integrity and consistency checks, etc.

· Experience supporting SQL Reporting Services and standard reporting tools.

· Experience running and supporting large databases under high transaction rates.

· Ability to research new database/warehouse storage/performance methodologies.

· Strong working knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies, architectures,

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SPECIAL TRAINING REQUIRED

· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (Masters Preferred)

· Degree/Certificate in Database Administration with a specialization in SQL Server

· MS SQL Server DBA Certificate a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE

· Must have at least 5+ years experience maintaining heavily trafficked enterprise level database

installations covering both SQL Server, and MySQL.

· 5+ years experience as a Database Administrator with experience in Data Warehouse data

analysis, and data modeling conceptual, logical, and physical data design

Engineer

Summary/Job Description:

Performs complex assignments often requiring development of new or improved products/processes/techniques.  Assesses feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering tests/products/equipment.  The position requires an ability to interpret, on a broad basis, the principles, theories, and concepts of an engineering specialty.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Contributes to successful project completion by participating in the resolution of issues such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard material, and difficult coordination requirements.
Coordinates project activities with other operating or engineering units to facilitate participation of appropriate staff in project completion.
Reviews project-related documentation to ensure its accuracy.
Participates in professional organizations to maintain current knowledge of technical innovations.
Assists in determining project objectives to contribute to the development of a comprehensive project design.

Job Complexity:

Requires thorough working knowledge on Unigraphics CAD application, 3D modelling, 2D drafting, Assembling, Sheetmetal. Working exposure in PDMs such as I-MAN, Team center is required. Working exposure to cabling and Topdown design technics is required.
Work exposure to CNC manufacturing processes, tools and methods is an additional requirement. Working knowledge about FMEA (PFMEA&DFMEA), DFM and DFA, DOE (Design of Experiments) is required. Understanding the application of materials in product design in relation with life cycle, Reliability and MTBF etc is an additional advantage.
Implementation of GD& T, ASME 14.5 Y 1994 standards application is required.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from four-year college or university from Mechanical, metallurgical, Aeronautical ad production engineering stream. and minimum five years related experience and/or training.

Engineer -System Administrator

Summary/Job Description:

Working within the framework of established operating procedures and in close cooperation with others, provides the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the computer systems, applications and related components. Focuses on both hardware and software aspects of the operational computer systems.

Monitors computer system performance and security to ensure the business requirements are continuously being met at agreed and acceptable levels of performance, security and availability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Supports, maintains, develops and troubleshoots the operational network computer and telecommunication systems and related hardware and software components.

Performs hardware and software installations, upgrades and maintenance of network computer systems, components and applications.

Provides and implements measures to improve the performance, security and/or availability of computer (operating) systems, components and applications. Monitors and documents computer (operating) systems, applications and hardware operational statistics (usage, performance, security/access, errors, availability, etc.).

Assists in developing and enhancing the network computer systems, operating systems, applications and components.

Works closely with the Network Administrators to monitor, analyze and troubleshoot local area networks and components.

Ensures business data and systems are adequately protected and backed up in accordance with existing procedures and guidelines.
